Uwezo DTM limited is a deposit taking Microfinance Institution (MFI) licensed and regulated under the Microfinance Act 2006. Uwezo DTM was licensed in November 2010 to commence deposit taking microfinance business in Nairobi’s Starehe Constituency. The name ‘Uwezo’ signifies empowerment and Uwezo DTM endeavours to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and low income earners through provision of sustainable financial services.
